Hello, Joey Craytin here and i can smell the basketball fever in the TCBA already, with the season about to kick off, there is ONE player that all TCBA fans and coaches should be on the lookout for. He had one of the best offseason's in the history of basketball. He bulked up and spent long hours in the gym practising his fundementals and his athletisim. He is Chris Kaman[/i], he has improved his rebounding and defense by so much, that now i think that he could defiently be one of the best big men this year. That of course is a very high expectation, but with all that improvement and still at a very young age, i think Kaman will do superb.
Last year Kaman was surtently not bad, averaging just about 15 and 10 with a couple of blocks. But this year, im thinking almost like a 23 and 13 type of deal. For all of you fantasy freaks, get kaman. He will produce and i mark my words when i say this.
Kaman makes even the best big men in the game struggle last year, imagine how much he will embarrase them this year!
After one of his hard workouts i got too talk to him in person and it was actually quite interesting what he said.
JC: Hello Chris, Joey Craytin here from the local newspaper.
CK: Hey Joey! Ive been reading your articles daily, you really know what your talking about. So... whats the next edition?
JC: Well Chris, the next edition is YOU!
CK: O my god... really?
JC: Yes, mind if i ask a couple of questions?
CK: wouldnt matter at all, i would be flattered.
JC: During the offseason you worked very hard to become a better basketball player, which is a fact, but how much did you really get better, and what aspects do you think you improved the most in?
CK: Yes, i did get much better in the offseason, and i cant even stress to you how much better i got, i was fine last year, but i wanted to get even better. The things i really got better at was definetly my conditioning, i worked hard by running numerous amount of suisides every day. I really became stronger, faster, and quicker. I also everyday worked on the fundementals of baskebtall, i worked on hook shots for about 3 1/2 hours a day, and it feels almost automatic when ever i take them now. That really helped on taking my inside game to the next level. I also focused on my rebounding, first i got better at jumping, then i got better at boxing out, and now i think that i can outrebound the best in the game. My defense is also another big thing that i worked on in the offseason was my defense, not just blocking, i also worked on defending opponets in the post, and now i know every possible move that a player could use in the post.
JC: Thank you so much chris, its been an honor to meet you, and thanks for your time.
CK: Its been a pleasure for me to, Later.
JC: Good luck this year chris.
