The 2006 TCBA season has kicked off with many big surpries and disapointments, in this article, i will be interviewing and scouting these players:
[glow=green,2,300]THE SURPRISES (GOOD)[/glow]
Michael Redd-SG-Rockets
After Michael Redd was traded from the Bucks, many analists thought that his stock would decrease, but they were wrong, Michael took all of the pressure and turned into one hell of a start to the year. Michael is averaging just about 29ppg 5 rpg 1apg 0.5spg 0.2bpg, and he has lead the Houston Rockets to a surprising 12 and 4, which really made some analists look bad. Before the Rockets made some key moves, they were predicticted by many analists to not make the playoffs and possibly be the worst team in the league. Michael Redd has lead them through almost everyone they face, and the Rockets franchise is depending on Redd to keep his statistics up, and be a team leader. When the Rockets traded away Tmac, many people were surprised about the move, and it made Redd have an extreme amount of pressure. There were many rumors on Hoopshype.com stating that the rockets might fire there new GM, who promised to bring them to the playoffs. When he traded away Tmac and got Redd, he must have saw something in Redd that other people didn't see, was it leadership? Skill? Potenial? We dont know, but everyone now agrees with him that this indeed was a great move.
Redd has shown leadership on the court and in the locker room, his amazing start to the TCBA 06' season has shocked many, including tmac, the former Rocket star. A great picture taken by our photographer, IJ ihota, catching one of Redd's amazing plays
After one of Redd's amazing performances we got to catch up with him in after the game,
Emma Levine from ESPN was able to ask Redd a couple of questions:
Emma (too ugly to have a picture): Hello... Michael?... would you mind if i asked you a few questions?
Redd: No, not all.
Emma: Great

E: Hello all you sports fans! Im Emma Levine and i am here standing next to Michael Redd, who has started the TCBA season averaging just under 30 ppg and is the 3rd leading scorer so far. So Michael, has your game elevated since you have moved from Milwakuee to Houston?
R: No, none of my game has changed, i was just tired of being in Milwaukee, nothing personal, i just wasnt playing with as much effort as i can. But i dont want to be hatin' there franchise, i actually wanna thank them for getting my game at level it is at right now, without them i would still be one of those 2nd round picks who hangs around for a long time almost never starts. I love Houston, everything about it, and i hope i can stay here for a long time.
E: What was running through your mind when you heard all of the analists say that you were going to get worse and not be as good as Tmac , did it affect your game?
Yes it did, but not in a negative way, i used all the pressure and false statements to take my game to the next level. And if you think that i'm doing really good right now, watch me win the MVP.
E: Thank you Michael, and good luck to you, we all hope that you continue your amazing performance.
R: Its always a pleasure.
